| Marine decapod crustaceans are macrobenthic opportunist species, of great commercial interest, and can accumulate pollutants. Worrying about consumers' safety, polychlorobiphenyls (PCBs), polybromodiphenyl Ethers (PBDEs) and dioxins (PCDD/Fs) were analyzed in four crustacean species from the coastal waters of Brittany and Normandy. As regards to regulations, the consumption of crustacean muscle doesn't raise any health problems. | Dans les mers côtières où les données des réseaux de surveillance montrent que les sédiments fins en surface contiennent des contaminants, la remobilisation de ces matériaux à l’occasion d’extractions de granulats, qui génère un panache turbide, pourrait influencer la qualité de l’eau. | The MET&OR module is a model, written in FORTRAN 90, which calculates the biogeochemical reactions between variables such as trace metal, radioactive tracers, organic or bacterial contaminants (biodegradation, decay, adsorption / desorption, photolysis, hydrolysis, volatilization, partition at equilibrium ..). It groups together classical reactions, described in the literature, to evaluate the source and sink terms which are integrated into the transport equations solved by a hydrodynamic model. It is intended more particularly for marine and coastal waters. This technical documentation aims to present the MET&OR module and the way in which it was coupled to the hydrodynamic model, in particular to MARS-3D. |
